Overview
If you’re planning to take the SAT in Singapore this October, November or December, choosing your test centre is one of the most important parts of your test-day plan. The SAT is already a high-pressure exam. The last thing you want on test morning is to be worrying about an unfamiliar location, a long journey or whether your device is ready for the digital SAT.
We’ve also heard from students who ran into technical or logistical difficulties on test day, including delays that affected their concentration and momentum. Experiences vary from centre to centre and date to date, but they’re a good reminder that your test centre choice and preparation are worth thinking through carefully.
In this guide, you’ll find:
- The SAT test centres in Singapore for the 3 October, 7 November and 5 December 2026 test dates
- Addresses and test centre codes
- Five things to consider when choosing a centre
- A test-day checklist you can screenshot
Important: Test-centre availability can change. Always confirm the latest list on College Board when you register for your preferred SAT date.
Where Can I Take the SAT in Singapore?
The SAT is held at international schools and other approved educational institutions across Singapore. The catch? Not every centre is open on every test date. A centre you see on the October list may not be available in November or December, so check your specific date before you register.
Below are the Singapore SAT test centres listed for each date covered in this guide.

What Should You Consider When Choosing an SAT Test Centre?
Once you know which centres are available, how do you decide? Here are five things to think about.
1. Location, Location, Location
Start with the practical question: how easy is it to get there? You don’t want your SAT morning to involve traffic stress, wrong turns or multiple MRT and bus transfers. Ask yourself:
- How long will the journey take?
- Will you take public transport or get a lift?
- Do you already know the route?
- How easy is the building to find?
- How much buffer time can you build in for delays?
If two centres are otherwise equal, the simpler journey usually wins.
2. Familiarity Can Help
If your own school is also a test centre, you may already know the campus, the entrance and the surroundings. That familiarity can take some of the uncertainty out of a big exam day.
It isn’t the only factor, though. Weigh it against travel time, date availability and your overall plan.
3. Consider the Testing Environment
The SAT takes several hours of sustained concentration, so the room matters. College Board’s requirements for test centres include quiet, well-lit and comfortable testing rooms, appropriate seating, technology readiness and on-site technical support.
4. Check Availability for Your Specific Test Date
This one is worth repeating: not every centre is available on every test date. Before making your final decision, check College Board’s registration system for the date you want.
5. Ask Other SAT Takers About Their Experience
Word of mouth helps. If you know someone who has taken the SAT recently, ask them:
- Was the centre easy to find?
- Was the journey straightforward?
- What was the testing environment like?
- Were there any technical or logistical issues?
- Would they choose the same centre again?
Keep in mind that one student’s experience on one date isn’t a guarantee of yours.
SAT Test Day: Don’t Leave It to the Last Minute
Start preparing for your test centre well before SAT morning. A few days before the test, confirm:
- Your test centre address and travel route
- Your admission ticket
- Your device and Bluebook setup
- Your expected arrival time
College Board advises students to check their admission ticket for the test-centre address and arrival information. Standard SAT Weekend doors open at 7:45am and close at 8:00am, unless your admission ticket says otherwise. If you’re borrowing a device from College Board, additional early-arrival instructions apply.
